Lisa Kelly has taken a circuitous route to Harding Real Estate. She served as the Executive Director of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1997 to 2002. Previously, she served as Legislative Assistant to State Representative Ann Hughes, editor of the Hamphire Register News and was on the staff of the Woodstock Independent.

Working for the chamber on a 24/7 basis spoiled her for 9 to 5 jobs. Real Estate shares much of that "flexibility" and the community contact, so it was a logical next step.

Kelly, a graduate of Northerwestern University, was raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and is a 31-year resident of the Woodstock area. She is a past subsitite in District 200 schools and has been very active in the community. She is a former president of both the Woodstock Rural Library and Friends of the Woodstock Publick Library boards and is a member at St. Mary Episcopal Church.

She is currently President of the United Way of McHenry County Board, a member of the McHenry County Community Foundation Grant-making Committee, the Woodstock Professional and Business Women's Association, the District 200 Facilities Task Force and is secretary of the Rotary Club of Woodstock.

In addition to the exposure to people she fines in real estte, she loves to travel, cook, work in the garden and fix up her house. She especially enjoys visiting with her sons, Spencer and Brian, who live in Hamilton Ny and Portland, OR respectively.
